Easy Homemade Lemonade

Tools Needed

  • 1 small sauce pot

  • 1 Cooking Spoon

  • 1 Small Cutting Board

  • 1 Chefs Knife

  • 1 Lemon Juicer or Large Pair of Cooking Tongs

  • 2 Quart Pitcher or Larger

Ingredients

Simple Syrup

  • 1 Cup Water

  • 1 Cup White Sugar

Lemonade

  • 3/4 cup Simple Syrup

  • 1 Cup Lemon Juice (about 5-6 large lemons)

  • 3-4 Cups of Water



Directions

Simple Syrup

  1. Combine sugar and water into a sauce pot, and bring to a boil. Let simmer for about 5 minutes, string frequently. Once all of the sugar has dissolved and the mixture has slightly thickened, remove from heat and let cool.

Lemonade

  1. Cut lemons in half and juice until you have about 1 full cup of juice. If you do not have a juicer, you can use a pair of tongs to help squeeze the lemons. It saves a-lot more time than trying to do it by hand.

  2. Into the pitcher, add lemon juice, and cooled simple syrup. Stir to completely combine. This works better if the simple syrup is at room temperature.

  3. Then just add water and done!
