Blood Orange Hibiscus Margarita
/These Blood Orange Hibiscus Margaritas are a sweet and tart take on the classic cocktail. Made with fresh blood orange juice and Tazo Hibiscus Margaritas tea and blanco tequila it is the perfect early spring cocktail or leave out the tequila for a mocktail!
Tools Needed
1 Small Cutting Board and Chefs Knife
Drink Shaker
Drink Jigger OR Measuring Cups of Choice
Ingredients
Drink
1oz - Blanco Tequila
2 oz - Fresh Blood Orange Juice
3 oz - Tazo, Berry Hibiscus Margarita Tea
Garnish
1 Tablespoon - Blood Orange Zest
1/4 Cup - Thick Kosher Salt OR Granulated Sugar
1-2 - Slices of Blood Orange
Directions
For the sugar/salt rim; Mix together blood orange zest and salt or sugar. Coat the rim of your glass first with blood orange juice and then coat it with blood orange zest sugar/salt mixture.
Add tequila, blood orange juice, and Berry Hibiscus Margarita mix to a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and shake until well-chilled.
Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
Garnish with blood orange slices.
