Directions

  1. In your medium mixing bowl with minced garlic and ginger, measure out Sesame Oil, Soy Sauce, Hoisin Sauce, Ground Black Pepper, and Warm Water and mix to incorporate. Then mix in cornstarch, while stirring quickly to prevent clumping. Place bowl to the side until needed.

  2. Take your bowl with the thinly sliced skirt steak, add Kosher Salt, Ground Black Pepper, and Corn Starch. Mix to evenly coat the beef with the seasoning corn starch mixture. Coating the beef with cornstarch will help ensure that the meat will be crispy when cooked.

  3. Heat your large saute pan over high heat and then add canola oil. Once the oil is hot, add thinly sliced skirt steak and evenly distribute it across the pan. Leave untouched on the pan for about 30seconds-1minute to crisp the meat.

  4. Once the meat is crisp on one side, lower the heat to medium and add the green beans, and scallions, and stir. Cover and cook for 5-8 minutes, until the green beans are tender and the meat is cooked completely.

  5. Remove the lid from the pan, add garlic ginger sauce, and stir to coat, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce.

  6. Remove from heat, and top with sesame seeds. Serve immediately or can be made for meal prep and stored in the fridge for up to 4 days.
