Homemade Cherry Limeade Refresher Mocktail

This simple and refreshing non-alcoholic cherry limeade mocktail is an ideal replacement for the usual evening cocktail.

Tools Needed

  • 1 Medium - Sauce Pot

  • 1 Large - NON-METTAL Mixing Spoon

  • Measuring Spoons

  • Measuring Cups

  • 1 Citrus Zester OR Fine Grit GraterIngredients

Prep

  • Cherry Compote Base: Compote: In a medium sauce pot, add frozen pitted cherries, water, granulated sugar, lime juice, and lime zest.

  • Over low heat bring ingredients to a simmer and cook for about 8-10 minutes while stirring frequently to prevent burning on the bottom. The compote will be done when the sauce is thick and the cherries have broken down.

  • Once done simmering let cool and store in an air-tight container until needed. The compote can be stored for up to a week in the fridge.



Directions

  1. In a highball glass, add 2-3 Tablespoons of cooled Cherry Compote Base, top with ICE, and then fill the rest of the glass with Lime Club Soda OR Lemon Lime Soda of Choice and stir.
